thats right. i got excited but i do not think bsnl ppl are looking into forum. If they did teir service would have improved a lot:iomg:. anyways good to see that other ppl are enjoying the privilage. how do you think they will charge me dude? it a prepaid connection. what if I bought another sim and not use this anymore? having said that, i must also admit that the pathetic speed has not improved yet. so even if i get free usage, i am only able to browse because the speed is avg 150kbps (very slow).:huh:

Upgrading is different from troubleshooting a loophole. Each and every loophole is being troubleshooted only with the clues given by us in public forums. They cannot charge for over-usage since its prepaid connection and also its not customer side mistake. What i say is tht, if you ppl keep quiet, you can enjoy the service for few more days.

Just read under :: BSNL 3G :: Prepaid page that All new 3G registration shall be entitled for one week unlimited data download in addition to the existing freebies offered with new activation. The promotional unlimited data download facility will commence from the date of activation of 3G plan and after 7 days normal freebies of 200 MB will be credited to the account.
So, check if you have done correct FRC from that page

I bought a 3G Postpaid connection on 26-Nov-2010 from BSNL Jaynagar,BLR Office. The guy who was distributing sim cards had no idea of offers with new 3G connections. He asked me to call CC or check on their website. I called CC and they are not aware of 7 days unlimited usage offer. I have a landline, hence got a postpaid connection free of cost without any deposits. Also calls to my landline is free (pyari jodi offer :clap.Now i am making data downloads. They have mentioned 7days free download for 3G connections in bsnl.co.in website.I have to see whether its really free or they charge me once i get my first bill.

My first bill got generated and they charged me for data usage to the tune of 1000. I raised a complaint and they agreed its their mistake and they will pass on a credit.

On my prepaid they charged me for the data usage and my Rs 50 balance went into negative, i complained online , also on phone, till now have not got any reversal of the same.
