its rebranding for sure, if u check the shows being advertised for the channel, they are same as what comes in the program guide on Tata Sky for history channel, so no more confusion any more

Vivek I did point out this in my earlier messages. The listing was one week long when i had checked but now its not even for one day so does this ring any bell.

Also the Fox History website is now in place at www.foxhistory.com / www.foxhistory.co.in and www.foxhistory.in and all three has only one page advert saying coming soon. earlier we were just being shown net4india ads.

Yeah I checked on that too..seems very reassuring that nothing gonna change but just the logo like Animal Planet did a month back. Just they didnot go changing the channel name and the website just for this. Also I have said earlier Fox History was the channel in Australia to be changed to History channel...in India its the Reversa.

THis is just a brand building exercise for Fox as they are to launch Fox Crime and Fx very soon in india. Just waiting for the formal approvals from MIB

Well it seems like History channel will be renamed to Fox History & Entertainment. But if you looks around the internet you not find straight connection between and The History Channel. They both are related in very long way.

New Corp holds shares in FOX, Sky, Star TV and companies like A&E Television Networks(Owner of History Chanel).

Star TV distributes The History Channel in India. FOX and STAR are both Subsidiaries of News Corp. But stragely FOX has come into picture and had changed History Channel's name that not taken place in the world. Btw, STAR owns 20% of Tata Sky, thus Tata Sky people are talking all about.

I think you all must be confused now:huh:. HAHA!
