I understand that the permission to uplink news and current affairs programmes of Jeevan TV had been withdrawn by the government as the Union Home Ministry had not granted security clearance to Jeevan TV. As per the Government’s order, no Direct-to-Home service provider and cable operator should offer this channel on their network. So it is off the Dish TV platform as well. The channel was allowed to uplink in July 2002 and has been on the air since. However, it was asked to conform to the new uplinking guidelines that were issued in 2005 for news and current affairs channels.

where is indiavision YES, where is WE, Where is PEOPLE channel. No need of PEOPLE from Kairali . totally a political channel. Kairali is better ! YES is not officially launched till today. I called up Indiavision guys today also. They said only few programs being aired at the moment. Studio is not yet completely set. regardsappus JaiHind is on 935 !

dont agree with u that news is a false if there is such an government order how all the major and small cable operaters offer this channels (there is no problem for jeevantv it is available entire kerala through cable and its fta channel (include news and current affairs) sundirect offering jeevan tv on their dth service(sundirect) dishtv is ignoring south especially kerala (around 5 channels they are not included) everyone intrested only in 9x,ndtv why keralites not coming forward for our channels comeon guys and fight for our rights

Jishnu? Whom to fight? where to go n fight ? what to fight ? You dont even know how much time i spent on DishTV customer care for the issues regarding Jeevan and now Indiavision. it is simply wastage of time. I have sent enough mails and not even bothered to reply back. So nothing will workout if we fight over here or call customer care !! anyways... I dont think i will pay the renewal end of this month !!
