Who is even asking for these channels! 
Just because you guys don't watch Malayalam channels, that doesn't mean there are no one watching these channels. For your info Asianet Movies is the first and only full time Malayalam movie channel in Kerala. And by the way Asianet is owned by Star TV. We can say that why wasting bandwidth on other regional channels. But we aren't doing that. So please respect others feelings too. Any way waiting for Zee classic, Zee cinema HD and Zee studio HD.

Let me tell u, its the South channels, which has the most no. of regional channels. Be it Tamil/Telugu/etc. Individually these languages have huge no. of channels & still people demand more of it. C'mon, u r living in India & from a Nationwide player, u cant keep bullying for more & more regional channels. I am a Gujju - AND WE JUST HAVE A COUNT of 3 CHANNELS FLAT. Still, we arent demanding more of it. Go to Gujarat & u will see numerous such channels which even we can demand. But, we understand that the DTH player is not my regional cablewalla. I cant expect them to provide me all the Gujarati language channels that are available in the market.
In fact, why take the language only? There are so many other news channels that are regional, specific to Mumbai & adjoining regions......many times they give important updates, better than what Aaj Tak or ABP can give, in respect of weather and all. Even those arent shown by the DTH players. But then, we have to be mature enough to not demand all & sundry local/regional/language specific channels, at the cost of the nationwide viewers.
Why do u want to create such regional boundaries? Why not watch what the whole nation also watches, rather than all the regional stuff? And that too, how many of these channels are watched by the people who demand, only God knows. There are atleast 8-10 of each such regional channels....so u tell me, how many of these do u watch, how for how many hours?

I am truly happy with D2H now even they dont offer free to view for new arrived channel. ITS GOLDEN TIME OF D2H & WE ARE PART OF THAT, ISN'T IT? GREAT!!!!!!!! IndianMascot
