3 days passed, no dish
tv at door step yet,
I called customer care after 1 day waiting, had to made 4-5 calls and every time was transferred to another sales guy, or a supervisor, who in-turn had only promise that it will reach you soon.
they kept asking pin code of the delivery address to check if its possible to deliver within 24 hours, YES they found it is covered within 24 hour delivery model they have, but.......
Apart from all this, seems the number they sent on order confirmation e-mail for the installation dealer was outdated, called customer care again and they said they'll check with dealer and call me back, Yet to get that callback :madness:
however the dealer called my in-laws after few hours, thats 2 days back and said "why did you complain to dish TV" your equipment will come to your address by courier and once it reaches we'll install, no need to complain.
Goes another call to dish customer care, but what I got, i think a filmy dialog fits well here "tareekh pey tareekh"
They also said, if you pay online, the equipment is sent via courier,
if you select cash on delivery, the dealer rushes to your doorstep within 24 hours with equipment to install and collect money.
this is strange, if you pre-pay, your services should be on priority as payment is already made, I think this mode of delivery should be re-designed.
anyway I feel awkward in asking my in-laws every evening, "Dish TV aaya kya"
it this delay continues I am sure they'll start calling me everyday and say "ABHI TAK NAHIN AAYA"
