kingkrool, you dont understand. Even if they lower their rates its not going to help. They will still keep the 150MB a day limit or impose some other silly restriction OR even worse they might start charging Rs.2 per MB like MTNL...

Wimax will not help much... unless they can keep pings low. That is th major prob on wireless connections, high latency. And that is a no-no for interactive multimedia etc, which will soon be the way to make money on the net.

wireless connections dont have ping problems lest its a satellite connection

Maybe the new owners will bring sify back to a respectible state. After having such a horrible time with sify, I'm never going to choose it again, even if it does get better.

As often repeated the new management needs to repair the patchwork network which is in tatters like a street urchin's clothes and is passed off as an ISP called Sify.
