New Router Page Displayed every time I load 192.168.1.1

Though I am not an MTNL user, it happens to me on my Airtel connection too, when I set the modem in bridged mode and access 192.168.1.1 for my ZyXEL modem it somehow always connects to a Beetel 220BX modem, presumably because in bridged mode the modem just acts as router and routes data only. To avoid this I switched over the modem to a 10.x.x.x range and so far no more problems. Could yours be the same problem too?

I too can post dozens of different modem /router pages, saved from the web from forums etc. The picture/s lacks authenticity as all info about the browser, statusbar etc are blanked.@karan: He is getting a different modem/router page everyday!1.dlink2.MTNL3.HuewaiUser is using UT300R2UIn your case: the programming pages could be similar.Recently noticed. siemens c2110 and ZTE zxdsl831Aii had almost identical programming pages.

I remember an exactly similar situation posted by a user named ashish in VT.com He was on a Huawei modem and occasionally he too used to get different web interfaces on refreshing the page.

Dude why would I play around man... I'm new to MTNL I was on cablenet all these years... Trust me I am not kidding... it is happening for real... :(edit: My PC IP is set to 192.168.1.6 and I'm getting an IP address conflict... does that help?

1.If it is real, Ok. More interested HOW it happens ?
2.Start/type run type cmd type ipconfig/all
3.or post screen shot of dsl status page.
4.Presume you are connecting to Internet fine.
Para two : Presume you have enabled DHCP in modem and
select
Start/Network/LAN/Properties/TCP/IP properties
check assign IP address automatically.

5.Did you use this program ?
filehippo.com - Download Free Software
6. Which browser you use IE or FireFox ?

I think the router that you see is not yours. Its probably somebody else's. I am also facing this. I use Huawei router(BSNL) with airtel phone line connection . 192.168.1.1 is the default address that all people give their router. When I used to login to this using IE. I was getting airtel router(Betel one) password prompt. Everytime I used to put 192.168.1.1 in my browser, I was getting different routers(and I can actually login into them using admin :: password). My surfing was fine and net connection was OK. But I was not able to login into my router.Eventually to login into my router I had to change its IP. I set it to 192.168.1.XXX. Now its fine. But still I can login into some other router using 192.168.1.1.(Username :: admin, Password :: password). I contacted the NOC guy but he said that all routers terminate in bridging mode on their side and so, sometimes the pc gets other router's MAC address while doing ARP ( because everyone uses 192.168.1.1 and its the same network segment). I verified it by using arp -a. Everyime when I manually deleted the MAC entry ( using arp -d ) and tried to ping 192.168.1.1, everytime I would get a new MAC for 192.168.1.1. The question that I asked the NOC guy is that if this was true( his bridging mode explanation) then why dont we get IP conflict when we put 192.168.1.1 as IP of our routers. You can also try to change your routers IP to some other than 192.168.1.1( same subnet ie. 192.168.1.xxx). Then try to ping 192.168.1.1. If successful, you also have the same problem as me.

find out ur IP.Next type ur IP in the browser's address bar.If u r on PPPoE mode, u should be able to access ur router's page. See if it's same or it changes as well
