i guess intense blocking is coming up in near future. all major file sharing services have some or the other form of abusive content. would not be surprised to see image and video sharing services getting blocked.

I disagree. Valley is on boil since last July. The by-election is hardly to blame here. If presence of unimaginable number of armed troops and civil prolicemen can't assure safety of voters then it's the failure of elected representatives, state machinery and not ECI.
