i assume the water used goes inside the ground and becomes part of the groundwater? i guess not. but then they are still using water that is processed for human use.
Thats about 4-5 hours of walking time. I guess you having money helps as you would not to be slogging at an office/shop/business & have enough time to spend walking daily.. I know many other people dont do it even though they have enough time
