that would include me. i have all the time in the world go to walks and gym and sports and what not. but too broke and lazy to do that.

21km a day sound too much to me. Its like half-marathon everyday?

May be he did it once or twice in a month.

Nonetheless - amazing recovery and he now even looks very innocent, calm and sensible person.

I would love to know what made him lose weight because only some kind of shock (or love interest!!) would make u desperate to lose so much weight.

I am sure doctors told him that he would die if he doesn't lose weight. Adnan Sami was same. And once you are hooked to exercising, it becomes a habit and a way of life. Getting started is the hardest part.

I dont think "he would die" works for most hugely fat people.

They all probably know it even without doctors saying it.

Waiting for some news channel to interview him!!

there is a difference between you would die and you are dying. at some point of your life, you reach a stage where you can either change your Lifestyle or you just go downhill from there on. smoking/drinking/obesity.

if you are changing your lifestyle for someone else, you would not last for long. you have to do it for yourself. otherwise you would be back doing what you did in a while.

Waiting for comment (and action?) from Maneka Gandhi!
