Recently one of my relatives got 2 SIM card from Airtel just by using photo and photocopy of aadhar card.

No signature was taken or asked!! No FORM was filled.

This means that if Airtel has your photo and proof of address - they can issue mobile in ur name!! (without even u knowing)

Was this an actual airtel store or a distributor?

If it was a distributor then there's nothing surprising about it. You could get a connection without legit proof too, fwiw.

Right. It was just too gruesome. The moments I did manage to see had a lady beating a kid with a stick. And then inserting the stick at a place you can imagine and then inserting the same stick in his mouth. Gave up right there. Farhan Akhtar was appealing to the people to find out who the lady was so that she could be brought to justice.
