Can't understand the need for asking for donations from people around the country. Mom's friend is in charge of money collection in my area. There are already many stories of harassment by these people to those who refuse to 'donate' money for this cause. I mean just get Paytm and other apps to launch a donate to mandir feature on their apps. i am sure enough people would contribute by choice. not even sure if money is being forced out from government employees like it was done in case of pm cares. but it's certainly quite messed up.
