I've been using a Syrotech D401 ONU connected to a D-Link router to avail Keralavision fibre because the ONU doesn't have wifi.
The problem with this setup is that whenever the ONU restarts, say after a power outage, the configured WAN settings reset and I had to manually configure it again to connect to the internet.
This is my existing WAN config details:

To fix this, I bought a Syrotech GPON 2000 WADONT modem and tried configuring it. But even after the correct WAN config, I'm unable to connect to the net, and the PON light is blinking continuously.
This is the wan config I use:

I thought this was a device fault and I tried using my friend's Netlink gpon modem he uses with Keralavision fibre. I reset his modem and configured it to use with my settings. But even with his ONT, the PON light still blinks and I can't connect to the internet. Both devices are literally the same with different brand names.

I tried removing all and connected my old Syrotech D401 ONU and configured by connecting to my PC using ethernet and it's working perfectly.
What could be the issue? I tried calling the broadband guy and he's out of the station.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
