No Moderators in IBF ?

Hello guys,Ok this is what Ive found here in IBF, der are so many useless threads lying around, posted in wrong section (eg: DTH, cable , IPTV) are instead posted only in active section. Another thing Ive found is dat this is only the forum where der r no MODS, der 2 of dem which havent logged in for Ages I guess. only susubh is around and does he care to check all the reported posts? Check the champions league section usless threads are started for each match abt LIVE streaming. WTF?:frown:There are so many deserving guys around here why not make Dem MODS for each section so that the section is clean from spam. I mean seperate MOD for BB section, one for DTH section and etc..?Isnt it better to have Moderators for such a big forum? I know many wud not agree but juss a sugestion to Susubh

well from what i see... this forum hardly gets 100-200 new posts everyday. and that is little traffic to require multiple moderators. any problem you see on the forum can be reported using the report button on the posts. or simply PM me with suggestions. i have enough time on my hand to go through plenty of reports on a daily basis. currently i hardly get 2-3 reports on a WEEKLY basis. i do not see any need for more moderators. if this forum was generating like 1000-2000 posts per day, then i would probably see the need for more moderators. most forums with similar traffic are likely to be owned by someone who is involved in multiple projects at any given time. sadly, my life is not that complicated and i can spend a lot of time around here.

Agreed Partially. Many times Ive reported a post and I hardly see any action against that post. If there are active moderators they can take some action. I am not pointing any mistake on u but that's what I felt.

Also this forum is lucky enough that there are less spammers here. But we never know

btw I have one more issue. Wenever I sign off and den login again the default theme appears and not the one I set even after loggin in. Why is dat so?

about themes... i would look into it. though i do not think there is any problem with the setup currently.

Repeated threads in sense suppose a thread is posted from an article, the same gets posted by another member. So instead of dat section getting littered why is dat not merged? I hope u got it.

Regarding themes: This happen wen I log out and den login again. But if I dont logout den its fine.

well. about the first part... forums are not smart enough to auto merge similar threads. and whenever i notice them, i do merge them up. if you find any threads that should be merged, a simple mail to me would be enough. and about skins. i am assuming that the setting is stored in the cookie which is removed when you logoff. i have checked the settings, i have not disabled anything that would cause this problem. i have not seen happening on other forums though, so probably something is not right.
