in case you did not notice... the launch of 3G did not get delayed. because it hurts the bigger player who have spent crores of rupees.

but the launch of MNP is being delayed for years.

they can get their 3G network in place but implementing MNP is turning out to be a complicated task.

Yes, but that means, government is by the people but not FOR the people.I mean this is clear and open mis-conduct by government..Failed to implement CASFailed to allocate 3G spectrum for longFailed to implement MNP todate.Failed to control DTH/non-CAS tariff.Failed to promote broadbandI mean what has Congress done in almost 8 yrs? I havent seen any growth in field of technology.I really am CURSING the government

looking at BJP, congress is going to come back to power once again in next elections. i cannot personally bear having rahul gandhi as the PM. it would be similar to having John McCain as President in USA.

Who said BJP is not alternative? It may be in bit disarray but if voted for they will reunite because they know that they will have to unite. I think Uma Bharti and Jaswant Singh are already back or on verge of coming back.Only problem now is the PM candidate... Vajpayee is gone. Advani will also be too old by next election.But then b4 2004 who knew that congress wud ever be back..I thought Vajpayee govt was doing relatively good. Congress didnt have clear candidate even after the election. Sonia Gandhi never clarified if she will be PM or not. Manmohan Singh was never in picture for PM, he just came out from nowhere. Congress was unstable too.BJP is in same situation right now. May be 3rd time lucky in 2014

with advani and atal gone, there is no single leader who would manage to get the support of all the second grade leaders. modi is not liked by everyone. rest of the group would not let anyone else survive.

I dont think this is due to the govt...Any party in in power will take big bucks from the old players and delay these things...Can u imagine what is going to happen the moment MNP is launched...The existing (old) players are going to lose half of their customer base and may get some new consumers but it will be a level playing field for all including the new entrants
