Microsoft's Nokia 215 is its cheapest connected phone yet

Nokia 215, a $29 Series 30+ phone that Microsoft says is its most affordable smartphone to date. Unlike other handsets in the company's low-end range, the Nokia 215 can run apps like Facebook, Messenger, Twitter, Bing Search, MSN Weather and Opera Mini, giving first-time smartphone owners the chance to browse and share while on the move.

Why is this a Nokia?

Maybe it was designed and manufactured much before when Microsoft decided to dump the Nokia branding and was probably lying in their warehouses and one fine day someone from Microsoft found the stock

As per agreement, MS can use Nokia name on feature phones (not smartphones I guess) for next 5/10 years. So all feature phone launched by MS will have Nokia name on it. Though it needs to see how many feature phone MS really launches in future. Most feature phone launched seems to be under development before MS took over Nokia.
