Nokia Siemens Home Router 1600

I am using BSNL Broadband at home. The ADSL router type 2 was provided by BSNL. Make is Nokia Siemens, Home router 1600.Till now(8 months) it was working fine. But two days back it stopped functioning. I did everything to make it work but without any result.I couldn't access 192.168.1.1- router page. But ping was successful. Command ipconfig also shows ok. I deactivated McAfee firewall, windows firewall. But no result.The router was reset. Still couldn't access 192.168.1.1 page.I suspect my ethernet adaptor (Broadcom Netlink (TM) Gigabit Ethernet).My Dell laptop warranty was expired.Anybody has any meaningful suggession ? Please help

The router was reset. Still couldn't access 192.168.1.1 page
RESET the modem/router to factory settings. FAILED>
check here for new settings.

2. In Network LAN properties
Network settings page.
On top your ethernet card is shown.
Select configure.
Check enabled or not
Also drivers. etc.
Or
in Device Manager check properties.

Thanks essbebe for advice.1) I opened the site referred by you. The site was opened but the download and pdf links are bad (HTTP 404 error)2) I already checked Broadcom Netlink (TM) Gigabit Ethernet properties. Everything is ok, and device driver displayed that the device is ok.3) I tried to update the ethernet driver. But window after searching the web displayed that driver is uptodate.4) Still I uninstall and reinstall the driver.But at the end NO RESULT.

There are links from Chennai /MP/Calcutta bsnl sites.
Which link you tried for a PDF file? user manual ?
Can you post ipconfig /all data only for LAn connection ?
In diagnostics page of modem which results show fail ?

hello essbebe,
I had to register to this forum owing to the wi-fi connection problems...
I had gone through many of the posts regarding my problems,
tried some solutions suggested by you, but not able to fix the problem...
my laptop detects the wireless device, it displays connected,
i am able to open the 192.168.1.1 site, make changes and all...
But when i try other sites (google, facebook and all), it says, the dns server isn't responding....
the net works well with the lan cable connection...
It's the Nokia SIEMENS RESIDENTIAL ROUTER 1600...The os is windows 7
I have been working over this problem all through this day...
had gone to the bsnl office and met the officials over there but of no use...
Hope your reply solves the problem....

(1) try without any security key.
(2) check MAC filter white list is disabled.
(3) confirm SSID appears in laptop
(4)Copy/Paste ipconfig /all data here
ONLY for LAN and wlan. No tunnel data please.
(5)Check my "sticky" post WA3002_g4 for wif scrreen shots.
(6)Check Chennai link.

(7) inform how many systems laptop/smartphone etc in use.
