not able open 192.168.1.1nokia siemens adsl modem not working

my modem is Nokia siemens c2110 , puchased from bsnl. since yesterday my modem not working neither i am able to open cnfiguration page.on connecting phone line not sown link(yellow light). morever on taskbar icon i found lan symbol indicating limited or no connectivity.and in its property i found that not able to find ip. please healp me i m indeep trouble as i purchased it from bsnl.

C2110 ADSL MODEM (Type-A) MENU

You have to reset the modem. reset
with a ball pen refill (with power on )
for about 20 to 30 seconds to reset to default settings.
( presume reset button or access hole available in rear)


You have one year replacement facility.
from date of purchase
Take the modem to Exchange and get it
tested or get a new one in exchange.

i have already tried this method, but it is not working. BSNL people are saying that modem is garuntee is only for 3 months . kindly advice me something else

Option 1:If you have 14digit portal ID access the Usage portalpage. Change your user USERID Password . Enter SAME password as new password.Save.Try to connect to Internet If not connected call CC to check up.Confirm ,they can connect with present UserId and PWIf NotThey may reset password and inform you.( presume you are in Dialer mode)Option 2:Try thisStart Network Local Area NetworkProperties TC/IP enter192.168.1.10255.255.255.0192.168.1.1.dns208.67.220.220208.67.222.222Apply and save.Now try to access the modem pages.Option 3:If still "No go"(a) rent a modem from BSNL same type ! Rs 50/PM rent .or buy a new one (b) Get connected with the new modem (c) After say one or two months ??????Option 4:Contact Siemens India for advice or replacement.Say BSNL says guarantee is only for 3 months from date of purchase.Feedback .

thanks a lot friend , i contacted BSNL person he just came to my home and replaced the modem and now it is working fine.although initially he was reluctant to replace the modem but later on he changed.thanks once again for your suggestion.

1. Type your external IP in your browser and check.

2.Try resetting the modem and reconfigure it. Use this link to set up the modem after resetting.

Hi guys i have the same problem that i am not able to configure my Nokia Siemens Modem provided by BSNL.

I cant access 192.168.1.1. Whether I am able to access internet but when i try to configure my modem it doesnt load the configuration page.

What Is My IP Address - Shows Your IP Address say EXAMPLE117.12.23.34
retype in address bar
A window may open to enter modem IDPW.
