Not able to access the config page

I am newbie on this forum.i need some help as i got bsnl connection only yesterday after a long wait of 6 mths.My happiness lasted for very short period as problems have started.Please help:-
When i type 192.168.1.1 in IE7 i am getting "page cannot be displayed error" but i am able to access the other websites.so i have several doubts regarding this.
1) Whenever i try to login i am getting the below error


after sometime it gets connected,can browse sites for 2 to 3 minutes and very next minute the LED starts blinking again and not able to access net.is it the problem from Bsnl or my system.

2)I am bit puzzled abt something.As u can see in the 2nd image the limited connectivity message i am getting and at the same time 100mbs connectivity message simulataneously.I dont know how to eliminate the limited connectivity message.is it normal or something wrong wiht my os or connection ie bsnl end.please help

Check ur Lan WIRE for defects if there r defects then replace the LAn wire(ETHERNET)....chack whether u have put proper IP adrres , gateway and DNS...Ip ADD :192.168.1.2SUbNETMASK: 255.255.255.0Gateway: 192.168.1.1

Yep i have done the ip address thing,now i could access the config page but when i am trying to configure my modem(modem make:BEAM-I C from Bharat Electronics) as per the instructions given ,i am getting an error after making all the chgs and when i click apply it shows some error codes which i cant understand.i will try to post the screen shots.But can any body help me abt the blinking LNK led continuously,it remains stable only for few seconds.Is it the prblm from Bsnl or my line or modem.please help!

1.Did you install, the BB connection or 2.BSNL staff came to your house and set it up ?Seems you have not opted for their modem.3.Did you connect the ADSL cable to port Marked ADSL. It should not be connected to the port marked Telephone. Also other phones should not be connected directly to telephone line. Only from the Splitter.4. if any static filter in your telephone line remove it.5.The modem BEAM 1-C cannot be located by yahoo/google search. ( or in Bharat Electronics website)6.The modem you have is it ADSL+modem etc ? give details 7.Do you have a USB port in the modem ?8.Have you read the FAQ and Fault finding page in the web site of Calcutta Telephones ? 9.Any number for your problem ?10. What is the ethernet card in your computer ?
