Not able to login to modem.

My BSNL BB is all set after sequence of problems and now it started working fine for the last few days without any issues. The only issue now I face is, the exchange guy set my BB on dialup mode. So each and everytime, i need to give my username and password to get into BB. Previously, it was on "Always ON" mode. Now, I am not able to login to my modem using 192.168.1.1 or 1.2, it says page not found. I would like to make my settings in modem to "Always ON". Could someone throw light on this..

go to control panel->network connections->local area connection properties->tcp/ip properties and set ip address manually as 192.168.1.10 and gateway as 192.168.1.1 .. now try accessing 192.168.1.1 .. there under wan page.. set vpi/vci to ppoe mode and enter your bsnl username and password there..

For UTstar modem ID could be admin and password admin or password or 1234 or utstar.
Better to reset the modem ( with power on for 30 seconds) to restore factory settings.

Modem address will be 192.168.1.1 as explained in post No 2 above.

Update : you seem to be using USB port then IP could be 192.168.1.2

You should reset the modem.This is the easiest solution and will surely solve your problem.
