So, had to use cabs. Ola had two offers that I could use. First ride on TaxiForSure using Ola Money in Ola App had 100 cashback to Ola wallet. Another code running is PAYHALF - 50% discount.

Travelled approx 6 km up & down with approx 15 mins travel time. Bill came to 110 both times - Total 220. Due to cashback of 100 1st time & 50% second time. My Total cost came to Rs.65

Travelling in Non A/C Bus, the 3 of us would have had to pay more with lots of walking & waiting involved :/

Ola teams up with MapmyIndia for better navigation

Taxi aggregator Ola on Friday announced its partnership with MapmyIndia by acquiring a multi-year licence.

“Through this partnership, Ola will get complete access to mapping data from MapmyIndia, which has the IP ownership for the most comprehensive, accurate and updated digital map data for the country,” Ola co-founder and CTO Ankit Bhati said in a statement.

This “first-of-its-kind” partnership in the country would also enable consistent map updates from MapmyIndia to Ola, making the data rich and relevant, he said.

Ola launches carpooling service - The Times of India

A day after cab aggregator Uber announced that it will roll out its private carpooling service in Delhi, Ola launched 'Ola Share', a similar service for Delhi-NCR on Tuesday.

The move has been described by the two ride-hailing apps as a solution to dealing with Delhi government's odd-even number formula. Ola has introduced the concept of social groups on its app through which colleagues from a workplace, or friends from a college can come together to share rides with each other.
