Well, people do have a right to comment on movies. That's what they are made for. If someone is uncomfortable about what people have to say about their movies, and shout back at them, what's the point? Not a single movie made till date anywhere in the world would have only admirers. Doesn't mean the maker or people involved with that start taking potshots at folks who didn't like it.

we do have the 'restricted' freedom of speech as one of the aspects of our fundamental rights. :)

That's the sad part. These "restrictions" are really arbitrary. India being a country of sensitive people, every statement might end up offending someone or the other. Like the recent law suit against the team of Kaminey.

that included a god. the statement made against the film featuring manoj kumar was a very generalized statement. any film critic can be sued if this lawsuit is not rejected immediately. i mean the members of this forum openly say this movie sucks...

Apna Haath Jagannath (it was written on a wall/door along with a photo of mallika sherawat). it was not even highlighted. it was just written on a door. JUST THAT! :D

:hysterical::hysterical: This is heights

Anyways...Its too late to clear this doubt. Almost a year, I guess. But yes, the movie when premiered on Sony a year back, had the controversial Manoj Kumar scene cut off from the movie.

By the way....Suing the team of Kaminey just for this...??? :hysterical::hysterical: The people who are suing have gone f***ing crazy...! :p
