Hi guys me new here,Well i guess u'll must have answered this question, if yes then pls gimme the link and if no pls read me out,Well it happens sometimes not always , whenever i get disconnected manually most i.e., i hit the disconnect button myself when i wanna reconnect i does not happen.FireFox shows me ur "Your Internet connection does not seem t be working"Now my connection is DataOne, Pune the speed and all the configs are fine. One way i took care of this problem is i gotta restart my sys and then y connection is back online.I want a solution in which i don't have to restart.2nd method i used is i switch off the modem and disable my LAN card and again switch on and enable LAN but still i cannot surf.So pls advice me if there is some software or fix or some tips and tricks for solving this problem.Thank You. :)

This according to me seems to be a problem in the system. Do check if you have the latest Anti-Virus updates and scan your system once.

My modem is dna-a211 and i have the exact problem. On bridged mode, i disconnect the dialer from the taskbar but when i open the dailer again and click connect, nothing happens. The dailer just shows "dailing.." status and comes back with an error. I don't remember the error but it said "sever didn't respond" i guess. Im currently on "always on" mode and having no problem.

Well my frdmy modem- external "PRONET PN-ADSL 101E/U alongwith its router"and i also tried that always on thingi its not workingalso Avast is upto date and i scanned the comp 2 times already.I clean it with CCleanerany more ideas

my modem- external "PRONET PN-ADSL 101E/U alongwith its router
what is the router model/make.?
Disconnect it.

Use only the Pronet modem 101E.

Try "DiaL UP" "bridged" MODE.
Open your favourite browser and type 192.168.1.1
in the address bar as shown below:-

Enter the username and password ( admin admin usually )

Clck on the Advance Setup

When you click on the WAN in the left pane you would see a list of PVCs
in operation in the right pane and select one
which reads VPI=0 and VCI=35
by clicking on the EDIT button in the extreme right.

Just look for VPI and VCI values as indicated and move further by
clicking NEXT

Ensure the bridge mode is selected and ensure
encapsulation is LLC/SNAP-BRIDGING and

click NEXT to proceed further

No need to change any value and again
click NEXT

proceed to SAVE the configuration.

REBOOT WAIT FOR AT LEAST 2 MINUTES.
Para two:
Post screen shot (link for) the Device status page.

Post this data
Start run type cmd type ipconfig /all

Don't know much about windows.I think this happens because some network-related services stops along with disconnection.when you are not able to re-connect ,open a cli prompt(start menu>run>>insert "cmd" and press enter) and check what is the o/p of "ipconfig /all"(without quotes).if the lan card is enabled/active ,then some network services/pppoe related services stopped.if lan card is down ,then enable it from device menu(blah!).this can be a firmware issue on lan card as well.
