I have a terrible feeling about South Indian Bank.

Tried identity verification using Aadhar Number, and it couldn't do it. Three times, three OTPS, same error: something went wrong.

It's asking me to do the entire VKYC freaking process, it's not a freaking upgrade, it's a new CC application.
 
Got my new card generated. Bill cycle bhi change hogya hai, and surprisingly I could edit how my name appears on the card.

I wonder if merchants would reject my card if it reads mad scientist or pro procrastinator. I just hope I get the Grofers 25% discount otherwise sari mehnat bekar.
 
My physical card is still not shipped and even though I can activate international transactions from app but it keeps failing. Don't know if domestic online transactions are working.
 
Yep, international transactions are mess...doesn't go through at all. Even though international transaction is enabled, it continue to say, transaction declined and please enable international transaction. Three different transactions happened like this, had to use different card. All are eBay / PayPal combination.
 
So after seeing the slice thread I was trying to find OneCard support timing as for some reason i remember it was also mon to fri 9 to 5.

I couldn't find timing mentioned now on their site, their helpline number is 1860 series which is chargeable and i cannot connect from Airtel.

Can anyone confirm if their helpline works on weekend or after 6pm.

This was there earlier too. Even other card issuers support it.
You can have any name you want to be printed on the card.

I just keep my original name on all the cards to prevent any such troubles. I think no digital but physical verification might lead to some of those.
I remember years back I had booked a flight ticket from a foreign card and they asked me to show the card while boarding the flight. Obviously, it was on my name so I didn't have to go through a lot of trouble but this could have gone totally different if the card has such names. lol
 
I got a limit increase offer.

Domestic online transactions are working.

Just to be sure anyone tried if the old card stopped working or that will happen after 45 days.
 
International usage and online transactions get activated when your card number is generated.
