I didn't even apply, I remember installing the app and signing up. Uninstalled the app right then as I couldn't find an option to delete the account.

Fucking hilarious scam.
Got around only like 20% of my axis and hdfc credit card.

I don't think they will do that unless you keep applying for the card multiple times. Hard inquires every few weeks will ruin your score completely.

@vignesh_venkatesan why you guys are applying for this, there rewards program doesn't seem that enticing.

Edit: is everyone applying for lulz.

I have to close an old card so may be another credit line will help spreading my credit and not effect too much score.

the app has a graph which indicates that it would check your credit scores every 30 something days from what i remember. that was the reason i have been trying to get my account deleted.

my email communication is being done on [email protected]. though i think i started the process by sending them a message on twitter.

in the end, it seems clear that they are giving the card to anyone and everyone who is applying. credit limit might be limited. no idea what exactly is their game plan.

I think that 30 day check is a soft hit so you wouldn't have any issue.
I just applied for the lolz and kinda deceived by no annual membership fee.

Checking credit score is different than making hard inquiry. Hard inquiry affects credit score not the other.

Can banks make soft inquiries too? I thought when we check our score that is a soft inquiry.

In any case there won't be any major improvement in 30 days.

All the risk seems to be on IDFC FIRST Bank which is providing the card. The company itself seems to have funding from well known investors so they are probably not going to disappear just like that. but without a sane business plan, it seems idiotic. i mean sure in future you can target your customers with loans and investments and other features. it's what Paytm and PhonePe are doing because there is no other business model for them.
