It's just gamification.

Even if you are on WL, and get the card approved, you don't get it till you download the OneCard app and approve the request.

If you are on waitlist they will keep reviewing your application every 90 days until it's approved, which could result in multiple hard inquires on cibil.

problem with HDFC is they don't report your total card limit to CIBIL or other credit agency. Your highest billed amount is considered as your total limit allotted to your card. I think this same problem is with ICICI.

ICICI does report credit limit to CIBIL. I couldn't find the credit limit field on any of my cards on the Experian report though.

CIBIL does not take into account credit utilization for cards that don't report credit limits. My utilization stands at 3% even though HDFC routinely screws up what it reports to CIBIL.

@Jay just checked icici does report correct limit to cibil. In one score app it was showing highest usage I guess or I got confused with HDFC card.

Update: Got reply that they will need 45 days to update me about deleting data.

Don't worry they won't fetch score again unless you click on it. Coz it cost them to fetch each time.
