My own card didnā€™t take more than a second to get approved even when people were in waiting lists. Reason being, I was a Capital First customer. I had taken an appliance loan quite a while back, and they had my details (PAN card Iā€™m assuming) in their database. My card was also pre-approved with a pretty good limit. šŸ¤·
 
I did a chargeback and it failed . This happened to me first time in my life.
I am not even sure if they raised it or just asked me to wait for a month for some fake procedure. The doc I got from them after the chargeback closure only includes the transaction details and the invoice of the merchat which is kind of the same information that I had shared with them.

I am closing my card now. According to them once I close the card, I wont be able to re-apply in future. And I don't care.
 
@Samuel It was with Excitel that they didn't provide me the service as my connection was down since installation. And it has been 2 months.
In response to the dispute, I got a document mentioning Paytm transaction details and the invoice for the Excitel connection.

Whereas the dispute was raised as "Service not provided". Simply receiving an invocie doesn't mean that the servcie was provided. I had already given the screenshot showing the connection is down since installation and it was never used. I think here the dispute was not handled properly or may be the dispute was never raised with VISA but they directly contacted the Merchant (via Paytm) for the proofs of successful transaction. In VISA disputes, If the Merchant counters the dispute, we also have a time frame to respond but in this case, One Card simply denied to take it further even after me asking them to do it multiple times.
 
@Samuel after filling up the details, it simply says ā€œwe cannot issue a card to you and we are really disappointedā€ LoL
When did you get the card??
 
@Samuel there was some negative news around SBM bank which is one of the partners to one card. Not sure if it is due to the same issue
 
I have paid my a bill weeks ago but still they keep sending messages to convert it to EMI šŸ™„ I had to double check if my bill is showing paid in the app.
