Ya, the discount isn't bad at ₹7k. As I said above the display of 8 Pro has issues, plus the curved display is not something I like.
Get the 8T if you can't wait. Better display and with GCam the camera snapshots can be improved. And both are high-end devices so there not much to lose except more money with the 8 Pro.

It's been 2 weeks and here is the short review.
Checked the display with Display Tester app and there is no visible difference anywhere on the screen. I have kept the display calibration at Natural and colours look accurate. Haven't watched much HDR content except a few minutes here and there on Netflix and am impressed.

Yeah , got it for dad . One of the good displays I have seen. I was in a doubt as the Tech Youtuber MKBHD had a color issue on a angle . Maybe his unit was bad . Prime Video does not play HDR though . Maybe I needed to wait for it play more duration
Primevideo has very bad user control over the settings. I mean it is done to enhance user experience, but geeks like me like to see what is going on . No stats like Bitrate , Resolution about the video is shown
