Oh!
My Samsung S20+ is also having this similar line. I read online that many Samsung S20 series phones had this issue. Replacing screen is only option to fix it, which costs around Rs 18K if done at Samsung Service Center.
What about OnePlus, how much it would cost?
OnePlus may replace for free on the condition that the phone doesn't have any dents or scratches (which I don't), even on expired warranty. Yeah, I have read about Samsung phones with the issue too and they should replace it for free given that it's a widespread issue.
I also had an issue a few months back where touch doesn't work on a significant vertical portion on the left side of the screen, which I am still living with because OnePlus doesn't acknowledge that and I'm not paying them to fix that. But now the tables have turned and I hope they are obliged to replace it, for free of course 'cause I ain't paying them anything.
Got the screen replaced and delivered free of charge. I booked a repair via OnePlus - OnePlus (India). A delivery service picks up and sends it to the service center assigned.
@SVK I read somewhere that Samsung was replacing screens for free last year but not anymore.
