Except the processor, nothing much. One or two features and internal design may be. Pricing is similar.

Nope. 9R is 9R. There is still differences, however minor they may be.

I'm lost. What do you want to buy exactly, 8T or 9R? OP phones were offered at 6k-7k discount last month on Fab Phones Fest on Amazon. There is coupon discount on the current Fab Phones Fest which brings down the price to 40.5k. And OP store is giving it directly at that price. Now it comes down to what minor changes have been made and whether they are worth it.

I hardly see any difference between 8 series and 9 series except for the processor and that camera label, which is just a gimmick. If the difference between 8 pro and 9 pronis bearable get the 9 pro.

I am not sure what else is there? You get a better processor, maybe a better camera. Isn't this what phone upgrades all about?

Variable refresh rate seems like a nice feature to me.
