Only android OS which i liked mainly because it was smoother than iOS at times especially since OOS 15

I had thought i would get OnePlus as a secondary phone

I know many OnePlus users who hates Samsung UI, so Samsung is not the choice for them.
But otherwise Samsung is better choice compared to other Chinese brands out there.

Pixel is the way to go. I got the OP 7T in 2019 which was the last true OnePlus imo, after that things went downhill for them. After a year or so, they intentionally crippled the device with buggy updates. Could never trust oneplus after that.
Pixel may not have the best hardware but software is very polished. I got Pixel 9 for my mom last year. UI is great, sometimes I feel like ditching my iPhone and switching back to android. It's that good.

@Kyle Crane OxygenOS is basically ColorOS. Earlier they were at least trying to make both look different in OOS12, but later, almost everything started looking the same too.

I don't think we'll see much difference in performance, because there is barely any difference in OOS and COS. I am worried about bloatwares though.

But same here, won't be buying another OnePlus. Considering the rumours that they will shut down in 2027, I guess my 13R will outlive OnePlus in India.

Oxygen OS was applauded by Users for no bloatware compared to Oppo (or Vivo, Realme, etc. BBK models).
Now need to see whether OnePlus with ColorOS avoids bloatware.
