I highly doubt the cause of the explosion was the processor. Could simply be a battery software optimization issue. Or an actual battery hardware problem.

Back in August, the brand had responded to another incident regarding a Nord 2 unit exploding, but ruled out the cause as external factors rather than a manufacturing defect.

They will blame the adapter for sure. BTW, these kind of adapters could be responsible. They usually do not make proper contact due to which small sparks happen continously leading to increase in temperature.

Already these chargers tend to get super hot while charging and the extra heat could have done this.
