Flash sales involve pure luck. Even if you manage to login at the correct time, there is no assurity of the device.

Invites though hard to come by but once you get them, you are assured that you will get the device. If you are desperate, you can even buy off an invite but the device will be assured. Flash sales can't guarantee anything. They are just gamble.
