Thinking of getting this, instead of the mi3. Works out to 24k. Spoke to the seller. Free case and screen protector. Another $20 for customs. Via FedEx.

Though I am not exactly sure how these Chinese guys are able to supply these phones.

I mean, is the OnePlus one freely available in China?

OnePlus probably gets these devices manufactured in Oppo factories in China... And I guess these units are somewhat leaks out intentionally or unintentionally to be sold at a higher price. I mean it's not like OnePlus One has any idea. They would know the IMEI numbers of devices that are not sold through official routes.

The waiting period and possibility of no returns/deliveries is the only reason I stay away

Nah. Need to pay the dude. That seems like the only weak link in the whole deal. What if customs finds out and decides to mess with my order? :s

If the phone is only being produced in limited quantities based on the invites they give out; the numbers on AliExpress make it seem like there's some alternate supply system.
