I’m using a BharatFibre connection on a GPON ONT.
Currently I am using a ZTE ont but I have bought a TP-Link ont so thought of using it.
I have copied the serial number of the ZTE onu to TP-Link and also copied the WAN MAC address of my device and dialled a PPPoE connection.
IP is allocated but I can’t access the internet. Both ONUs are GPON ONUs.
However when I use the ZTE ont — internet works. The PPPoE details are also correct, however the internet does not work even after the IP is allocated. (in NEW ONT)
Things done so far:
1) Copied ONT serial number
2) Copied MAC address.
I don’t know what else is BSNL checking.
Note: I can’t ask BSNL to change the ONT because it will take time.
