So,it is lockdown and my luck went KAPUT.
The ONT WENT KAPUT....
Anyone got any idea for meanwhile....
I cannot get new one as the same is in warranty so I must get it replaced.But LOCKDOWN....
Please provide some suggestions.

Get another one if possible and get the broken one replaced at a later time to be kept as backup for situations like this in the future.

But I'm curious to know how it went kaput? What failed?

Only nearby ftth provider can get you one in current situation. Call them.

@igloo
He is *******.I tried calling him but in vein....gonna get a spare from somewhere.

@varkey
Any good quality ONT that can be placed on table and won't overheat....
Under 2.5k though...would love 5 GHz....
It should be great in quality....

So,understand the situation.
The ONT went KAPUT.
It is WiFi n 2.4ghz.
It has 1 GE 1FE 1POTS.
Now,I want to use it and want to buy new router which can cost maximum 2.5k.
To maximise the usage,I want to use both...now...I am a villager...won't mind if router can cover my home which is 180 yards house including first floor and ground floor....
So,ont won't overheat much if used in bridge mode....so please tell some great router with great coverage under 2.5 k or 3k at max....

Your ONT sounds like generic ONT given to most of the BSNL FTTH user, you haven't disclosed your location(understandably so) so people who might be in you vicinity will not be able to/arrange help

The best you can do is file a complaint at BSNL office about this and LCO being deaf to your dire situation, maybe some officer might be able to poke LCO for you.

At that budget I have noticed people here suggest TP-Link Archer c6, I will always suggest you to get router around 10-12K INR(it will last you for good and be much more durable)

Unless you put a table fan around your router/ONT, your supposed climate will devour it(especially the *wifi router)
