Hey guys Will changing Dns servers from the basic Dns servers provided by bsnl reduce ping on international servers ?? Is it practically possible ???

Which you recommend.

I think Google is a bit faster. But Open DNS filter your content. Better try Open DNS.

@marcopoloxpTHANKS FOR THE USER MANUAL.Please see "sticky"post for WA3002-g4.Daily 30 to 40 hits average.. Updating/ Adding the link.@sisyaPARA 2 ;For me - own self assessmentSQ ( Stupidity Quotient ) coined by me say 50%IQ ( Intelligence Quotient ) say 30%PQ ( Patience Quotient ) coined by me 99% specially in forum/s, to avoid EGO clash. But what is required is a Scientific temper 100 % to discuss dispassionatelythe subject, and accept the correct view. ( may be revised later ) .

open dns hacks default search provider and set its own seach engine as default when modem is in PPPoE mode. That's my experience when I used my modem in PPPoE last time.If Google does it also I won't mind :) .Presently I am using bridge mode, using google dns .A bit faster in my experience.

using 8.8.8.8. & 8.8.4.4 for some time... speeds are good.

frankly ... I use mtnl auto discovered dns... if it fails for any website... then I turn to open dns.
