And what is the outcome when you try to ping the DNS Server from your PC?Note: Please post responses to all the questions, it is inconvenient to ask the same questions repeatedly.
I had to switch to OpenDNS today as I was facing problems with GoogleDNS, quite a few of the images didn't seem to load, I changed to OpenDNS and that seemed to resolve the problem. Has anyone else faced something similar?
Well, my DNS issue with Belkinrouter has been solved. The solution was simple, Kick out the Belkin router. it had the worst firmware a router can have. neither it could have been flashed to dd-wrt or tomato ETC. Belkin call centre themselves accepted the DNS problem. On my new router, changing DNS works perfectly. The range has improved tremendously.I Would seriously suggest anyone against buying Belkin routers. they are nothing but piece of Sh*t
Belkin call centre themselves accepted the DNS problem.
If they have accepted the DNS problem then surely Belkin technicians would be working on a solution and perhaps even rolled out a bug fix to this issue, did you try a firmware upgrade?
