I recently got a TP-Link AX10 router to set up an OpenVPN, so I could access my home files, use geo-locked abroad and allow my family to connect to my home network. I connected the router to the JioFiber router. I completed the set-up of creating OpenVPN, setting up a DDNS but I was not able to connect the VPN, I figured out that port 1194 was not open. The port required for OpenVPN is 1194. I tried to set a port trigger in the TP link router and a port forward to the tp link router from the JioFiber router in the Jiofiber router's settings but no luck. Is there any way to get this to work? is there a way to ask Jio to open up the port?

@Gaurav15 Thank you that is really helpful, I'm new to this, could you elaborate on how I can set it up, I read a bit and found the place to set up ipv6 on the jio router, I'm not sure what to add as the domain name

Are there other ISPs that allow me to access my home network remotely? Right now, Jio seems adamant about not giving out static IPs for normal use. I also heard about portmap.io. Would that be an option?

Don't know about portmap.io, but if you get something like a raspberry Pi or any sbc, you can do n number of solutions to access your home network, brdr, despite the CGNAT.
It's a one-time investment that'll go a long way.

Please note that a lot of ISPs are using CGNAT nowadays or are shifting to CGNAT gradually so you'll have to get a static IP by spending extra, if you choose to go that route.
