Because the minister Anurag Thakur had spoken against CBFC committee which approved the movie to be released in India. I believe that the movie had obscene scene back then and CBFC approved it for U/A release across the country.

If the edited Indian version was already there for CBFC rating, then why did minister Anurag take a wage against the film certificate committee?

Okay. I shall watch the movie tomorrow. Let me check both the above scenes in person.

Saw the movie today in a local multiplex. The scene in which both the actors are nude is changed to dressed as said above in the link.

The other scene in which it is said to be reading Bhagavad-Gita doesn't have much explicit content though (may be because it's Indian version of movie). I don't know what version of the movie will be released on OTT.

Overall a watchable movie, though little long.

It's not about the explicit content when the Gita is recited. It's about the act during which it is done. So Anubhav Saab wants to get rid of the entire scene.

OTTs will also get the sanskari version. There is only one way to get the proper version.

These people cannot even tolerate a sex scene or any other acts performed during a scene and they call themselves as the Messiah of India!!
I find it cute when such people play the role of comedians masquerading as policy makers.

BTW, the IMAX version of the movie was being sold for Rs. 760/- minimum in the nearest multiplex.

@Navjot Singh I think the OTTs outside India, i.e., Western Countries will do not get Sanskari Version.

Correction to someone's post: Movie doesn't have any Indian connection at the climax/end.
