also now the story again changes
Osama wasn't shot dead, but blew himself up to avoid capture by US forces: Report - Yahoo! News

first he was shot in the head

then he took a hostage

then he was armed

now he blew himself so there wont be any body parts that can be identified

and OH! they threw him in the sea

yeah i believe the story

You do realise Noam Chomsky is far left, these ppl are borderline anti-american. You might want to stick to centrist views to get a balanced take.Does he not realise the Paks wanted absolutely nothing to do with OBL's capture ?It had to be an american op.Bringing him back to the US to face trial would have been quite an exercise in itself and potentially ran the risk of getting him exonerated. How smart would that be ? US wanted OBL not for 9-11 but for USS Cole & The embassy bombings in Africa. Thats what he was charged for.His involvement with 9-11 was circumstantial. Since Al-Q were the ppl who claimed credit for 9-11 and OBL was the leader of Al-Q. They went to afghanistan to attack Al-Q there.I'm still in two minds over whether this was an assasination, he was worth more alive than dead just for the info they could get. Will have to wait for more info to emerge on this. All we have for now is he resisted capture and one round was fired from the Ak47 found at the scene. So there was some resistance. THe ST6 were not going to take any chances.

Ah, so danger of exoneration should be a potential reason for execution without trial.
