Hi,I took airtel night unlimited plan. Which typically means, anything I do with internet after 9m to 8am is free of charge. So I started doign all the heavy work, downloads / uploads after 9 pm. I was always cautious not to do any heavy things in day time. This should have limited by bill to the minimum possible value. When bill came, it was over Rs 2500. Apparently airtel overbilled. After lots of discussions, initiated from my end, as its my need to have broadband for my business, we realized that Airtel Broadband has FAUTLY and NAIVE and KID LIKE Systems. After checking the BILL I came to realize that at one billing line I had started internet at 8.59.51 pm. I was billed over 600 rs for that. Meaning Airtel was not automiatcally stopping my billing at 9pm.. They expect the user to shutdown broadband and reopen it at 9pm/.. What kind of shit is this? This is a company which talks about taking india to next big stage and their systems do not even support this thing? Neither they write it anywhere on their website, neither there customer care people are educated about this. They never try to resolve it now. I call up customer care and have explained them same thing over and over again as they dont write the right things in record. I even contacted ther NODAL officer, Mr Dinesh Daryani, but it was same. He never responded and they just had customer care call. There is no resolution as yet and its over 2 months or so. Please suggest what to do about it. Does any of you know how to get our grieviences on national papers so the company name and the Nodal officer name can be brought in "limelight"? Thanks.Saurabh

Airtel is going bad..Already people are fed up with bad plans.. Now its a new case of bad customer care too.. Keep it up Airtel.. Days are coming soon to close down Broadband service.

Dont pay the bill. As simple as that :) When they come asking, tell them that its disputed and no resolution from the company side ;)

Did you register for Airtel Self care? you could check your usage regularly.I too have NU and invariably check everyday my usage. The earlier you report the mistake , the better the chances, the wrong billing amount is not included in the bill.In my case an entry for Dec was included in Feb bill, and I took it up, and they gave me credit in the next bill. The amount luckily was only about Rs 5/=

Really, Airtel billing system is a horror show... you need to ready for some shock in your monthly postpaid bills...I strongly suggest to close their 121 service... guys sitting their are simply waste of money...Recently I was shocked when I got same kind of reply from Airtel Nodal office too...none of the service provider seems to be good or fair now days... where to go ? govt is careless... poor customer...
