i want to go for BSNL broadband.i have 3 parallel connection on single bsnl landline for use in different rooms.are these connections affect the speed?

@essbebeIs it necessary to install separate filters at each telephone point? Will it work if the main line is directly given to splitter and then the 'Modem' goes to system and 'Phone' can be given to any number of parallel telephones. Does this layout work?

@srk20061.From the First ADSL splitter PHONE port any number of Phone extensions can be taken.( Idea is to block BB data signals to phone/s)2.As you are aware there is a DC surge, when ever the handset is lifted, and this seems to affect the BB connection. And phone gets a "Hiss" from BB signals. 3. Modem can be given without even an ADSL splitter ! ( which is also straight through! see diagram ) We don't want any attenuation of data signal.

This can be done by using multipoint RJ11 female jack .. put your main line in splitter and from splitter connect the modem's rj11 jack in dsl slot and connect multipoint rj11 (phone's jack ) in telphone port.use extension rj11 cable as per your need.main line--- splitter --- (1) dsl modem (2) multipoint rj11 --- telephone's
