Paramount Skydance has completed a series of transactions to restructure the debt financing for its proposed $111 billion acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery.
Warner Bros. Discovery shareholders approved the merger with Paramount Skydance but symbolically voted against payout packages for CEO David Zaslav and other WBD top brass.
Paramount Skydance said the merged Paramount-Warner Bros. Discovery will be 49.5% owned by foreign investors, with about 38.5% of the entire company held by a trio of Middle Eastern funds.
