Pathetic Experience with a new Airtel Broadband Connection

hmmm... So it is hard for me to switch to BSNL - their connectivity is below par, prices are high and service is unreliable. Airtel beats them on all these parameters but it keeps raising rates unilaterally because of a lack of competition.
I can only hope ACT comes soon to my area in Chennai. Will use Airtel as a backup after that and ACT as the main connection. Only competition will force these guys to moderate prices. Broadband in Bangalore is far better now because of multiple players on all price points.

Sorry for the inactivity, have been away since a month from my home.
Update is that the whole thing was fixed when I posted on their twitter handle, after around 7 Working Days. Honestly, a case where they should not promise what they cannot deliver.
Agree with forum members asking everyone to directly submitting everything to Airtel Employees than DSAs.
On the connection: Fantastic Speeds, but have the issue where I have to put in a Gateway to connect as well as Primary and Secondary DNS Address. Not sure why!
