I took a Tikona Broadand connection on 15 July 2014 and Im disconnecting it after 15 days of horrible service. I stay in BTM 2 stage, Bangalore. Never knew that Tikona service was this bad. They cheat people by collecting a lumpsum amount in the beginning itself. On the day of connection it showed good speed and all in demo. From that day evening the problem started. Either there will be no service or slow internet.
I called their service support some 20-25 times within 15 days (who takes the call after 10 minutes minimum) and told them about the issues i face on a day to day basis. According to them my case is on high priority all they tell they will send an engineer. The service engineer never turns up or never picks up the call.
Finally, i went to the terrace and found that the box above my house is not facing the Tikona antenna. I myself turned it and finally it started working fine for a couple of days.
Again the problem started in two days. Now the login page only doesn't appear. I called them as usual and finally got an service engineer at my place after a day or two. As expected the technician was completely clueless about what is happening. He left telling he will send someone else. No one turned up after that and again i called Tikona regarding this. Finally they told they will send some senior technician. As usual he never turned up. And i finally decided to disconnect the service.
Guys pls advice anything else can be done regarding this. Will i get full refund? I have never gone through anything like this before. Such pathetic service.
