We have a Airtel Broadband and also got a ACT Fibernet for speed...
ACT Fibernet sleeps for atleast 2 months in 12 months - actually no connection. The service desk finds excuses - for eg. the flood in Chennai caused ACT to go down for 1.5 months while everyone else was up and running in 1 week. this year again they have this wonderful excuse of the cyclone where the network is again down for 3 weeks while everyone else works !!!
When the connection goes down you will NOT get any response from customer service ..best thing is to write to the CEO and CFO - the query will get resolved within 24 hours !
If anyone every has a plan to go for ACT - please please do not. These guys have no SLAs nor are enterprise networks. You can rest assured that the network will be down for atleast part of the year if you by mistake go for this !!!
