not sure what you would use it for. considering you cannot even use the funds in your paypal account for payments.
 
It's handy to check the recent transactions on the account. Pretty useful for regular buyers on ebay.com or other international sites. Their site is a major pain as it is very very slow.
 
I am not sure if this is recent or is being going on for a long time , but paypal now accepts debit card. At least ICICI debit cards which were rejected earlier , are now accepted. Although i must say that first transaction ( online purchase etc) might be with held for some days . Happened to me. So see to that you buy something of lesser value and of lesser importance and wait for a month to make further buying.
 
well that was on the accepted lines considering they are highly restricted by the laws of the country to operate similarly to how they work internationally. so supporting bank accounts was the first step. supporting all the major debit cards is also essential. considering you can only make payments from an external medium.
 
Ya , paypal in india is very restricted , i dont know if the limit and 7 day -must-withdraw rules which was applied a year or so back still stands.
