I guess you are not really aware how ratings work.

HaHa. if i wasn't aware of the demographic age group of 18-49, i wouldn't had mentioned a raw figure of million or million plus viewers but instead posted 13-15 million total t.v. viewers for POI and 10 million viewers for "Unforgettable".

i had mentioned million plus viewers off the top of my head figures without quantifying into demo 1.0,2.0,,3.0 ratings. those viewers in my mind were of course from the Demo group and i had not even thought of total no of viewers when posting.

Anyways, let the renewal topic rest here and i take you word of Official confirmation ;)

in any case, i am running short of new series to download. suggestions wanted :o

That's cool. Let me just add one final thing - strip syndication.

A show in it's 2nd or 3rd season has more chances of getting renewed than a show in it's first season despite moderate ratings. This is because of strip syndication. This is where networks and studios sell their show to other stations in the US and around the world. The magic figure for strip syndication is 100 episodes for sitcoms because a station can air 5 episodes mon-fri for 20 weeks. For dramas, the magic number is 88.

More than any other network, CBS is more about this syndication. The Good Wife for example, is a quality drama but it's rating are mediocre. CBS renewed it for a fourth season for 2 reasons. First is that the show will reach the syndication requirement of 88 episodes. Second is, The Good Wife is a prestigious show for the network because it's critically acclaimed and it gets awards. The same yard stick will apply to Blue Bloods and Hawaii Five-0 this year because they both are in their 3rd season and a 4th season is needed for syndication purposes. Of course, PoI is not ratings-challenged. We don't have to worry about it. Like I said, it's the second highest rated drama on CBS along with Criminal Minds and NCIS:LA. Only NCIS gets a higher rating. CBS only cancels a couple of it's lowest rated dramas every year.

i saw one episode after getting four seasons. got rid of it.

Lol I was about to suggest it. I really love that show.:D
