Hello internet friends!
currently bsnl and mtnl are giving 300 kbps upload speeds in 3g. Which is like 2g speed.
I have started a petition to ask MTNL and BSNL to increase upload speeds. WHile other private operators give 1.8-3 mbps uploads MTNL and BSNL have capped upload to measely 300 kbps. both on GSM and CDMA.
If you agree that these speeds are slow then please sign the petition:
http://www.change.org/en-IN/petitions/bsnl-and-mtnl-govt-telecom-companies-india-increase-upload-speeds-in-3g-from-28-kbps-to-at-least-1-8-mbps?share_id=XbRpTWSzNN&utm_campaign=autopublish&utm_medium=facebook&utm_source=share_petition

Even after paying so much amount we get so slow upload speeds.
I would request you to please sign this petition and i will forward it to telecom minister and other officials so that they can change the cap.
Hope you will support this cause!

I have used BSNL in different parts of the country, I have also seen the videos on youtube speedtest of metro cities like kolkata etc.
The download speeds are fine, around 2-3 mbps. But uploads are pathetic. Hope you will understand and help?
Please friends, Even i know petitions might not help. But there might be a possibility that there is a change?
Thank you everyone for reading!

What he is trying to say is that it is a technology problem because they are using an older tech for delivering 3G services.

I'm not using BSNL anymore, moved on but Signed the petition anyways for the sake of better internet in India, wishing you good luck

That can only happen when they upgrade to HSPA+ services. Current HSDPA supports only 384kbps upload speeds.
